Sorakaya Payasam Recipe Ingredients

Use the following ingredients to prepare or make Sorakaya Payasam recipe at home.

Sorakaya Payasam Recipe

Milk (low fat) - 3 cups
Sorakaya (grated) - 1 cup
Sugar - 5 spoons
Saffron (food color) - pinch
Yelakula podi (cardamom powder) - spoon
Dry fruits for garnishing
Ghee - 1 spoon

Sorakaya Payasam Recipe Making Procedure
  1. Take a pan and heat it by adding ghee.
  2. Fry dry fruits in it, till they turn to golden and keep them aside.
  3. Now squeeze the water from the grated sorakaya and fry this in the same pan for few minutes.
  4. Add milk into it and boil them by stirring continuously, also add sugar into it.
  5. Mix the cardamom powder and dry fruits into it.
  6. You can serve this yummy sorakaya payasam warm or chilled.
